No obligation 30 minute video or phone call to discuss the Dementia Travel Advisory service and understand the process, cost and your next steps.
Every 3 seconds somebody in the world is diagnosed with dementia, a figure which currently adds up to 55 million people worldwide and 900,000 in the UK alone. It’s estimated that, globally, there are at least 18 million people living with undiagnosed dementia.
Half of the families of people living with the condition in the UK typically devote more than 100 hours a week supporting their loved ones. Families spend more than any other in providing support and, globally, this equals £515 million per year. Looked at another way, the total global spend of supporting people living with dementia is the equivalent of the 14th largest economy in the world.
In creating and founding Sargent Group Consulting Dr Carol Sargent has utilised her extensive scientific and consulting experience along with her dementia tourism expertise to develop a new organisation with expert consultants who advise on staff, environmental, equipment, activity or marketing adaptations for organisations to make a clear business case to attract not just the dementia community, but people with invisible disabilities who are looking for similar adaptations.
Our consultants have a range of complementary personal and professional expertise in the dementia and tourism sector. This coupled with their hands on knowledge and practical experience on how to enable anybody living at home to continue to enjoy travel, tourism and hospitality empowers them to identify SMART solutions for our clients.
